Details
Description:
A beautiful uncirculated mint state 64 red brown as grade by NGC 1943 (1362 AH) Egyptian ten milliemes or one piastre bronze coin. The coin depicts the uniformed bust of King Farouk the first (the King of Egypt during the period April 1936 through July 1952) facing left with his name and the words King of Egypt surrounding it on the obverse. The coin shows the denomination, the date, and the word "al-Mamlkah al-Masryah" (Kingdom of Egypt) on the reverse. It is KM-361 and weighs approximately 5.7 grams. The coin has a scalloped rim, very unusual and interesting. It measures approximately 25 mm in diameter. This coin is rare and very difficult to find in such high grade due to the fact that it represents a high denomination which would have normally been heavily used and abused. Please carefully view scan as it is part and parcel of our description.
