Be careful as many sets of plates out there being sold are nothing more than wall hangers. These are all verified DMV CLEAR and no longer in their system. In fact, they have been off the road for over 40 years....
Do not buy those 'new' black legacy plates and run them on your 70s truck. Lame and a waste of a year. And your 1975 to 1980 truck better not have white plates on it. These only cost a year to run.
