The coin represents the 40th year of issue of the popular series.

Stunning Libertad Imagery
Obverse: The obverse features a journey through Mexico's history, demonstrated by the evolution of the national Coat of Arms. The current Coat of Arms of Mexico is centrally located, surrounded by ten previously used emblems. All varieties of the arms include a Golden Eagle and a prickly pear cactus, the national bird and plant of Mexico. Inscribed "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" (United Mexican States).
Reverse: The reverse is an homage to the statue of Winged Victoria which is perched upon the Mexican Independence Victory Column in Mexico City. The Angel grasps a wreath of laurel as a symbol of victory, and a broken chain as a metaphor for the nation's freedom. The image includes the summits of the volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl in the background, accompanied by the inscriptions "1 ONZA PLATA PURA 2021 LEY .999" and the "Mo" Mint mark.

If the product has been altered, is not in its original coin capsule, or is otherwise in an unsaleable condition, the product will not be accepted for return or exchange. All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number.
