The American Silver Eagle series has been a product of the U.S. Mint since 1986. Until now, the 35th Anniversary of the series, the coin's imagery has remained relatively constant, adorned with a historic personification of Lady Liberty and a heraldic eagle modelled after the Great Seal of the United States. This 2021 dated, mid-year release of the series serves as an introduction of the Type-2 design, which features a dramatic rendition of an Eagle Landing, replacing the classic heraldic eagle graphic.
This is a first year of issue Type-2 2021-W American Silver Eagle coin!
The coin was struck from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver at the West Point Mint.

Beautiful Type-2 Silver Eagle Imagery
Obverse: The obverse represents a revival of the iconic Walking Liberty design minted on the 1916 circulating U.S. half dollar coin. Lady Liberty is draped in the flag of the United States, strolling towards a new day's sun, while carrying a cluster of oak and laurel branches. Inscribed "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2021." For the first time in the history of the Silver Eagle series, the initials "AW" appear beneath the motto, crediting the timeless, patriotic image to Adolph A. Weinman, one of the most prolific sculptors of the early 20th century.
Reverse: An eagle is depicted on the reverse posed in descending flight, holding a branch with a few oak leaves attached. Surrounding inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "ONE DOLLAR," with the West Point Mint's "W" Mint mark below the eagle's foreground wing. The stunning wildlife image is the work of Emily Damstra, a recipient of the prestigious Coin of the Year (COTY) award in 2014 and 2017.

If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion.
