Vasek Polak Hermosa Beach Porsche License Plate Frame - Very NiceBefore you read any further, just a friendly warning. There are terrible reproduction VP frames all over eBay right now. There's even a seller (
bd0nalds0n)
selling reproduction frames as authentic. He's selling them for 0+ when they're worth . He's even "aging" them a little bit to make them look real and he's sold several of these frames to unsuspecting buyers. Be careful who you're buying from!
Here's a genuine license plate frame from from the legendary Vasek Polak Porsche dealership that was located in Hermosa Beach, California until it closed following Mr. Polak's tragic death after crashing a Porsche on the Autobahn in 1997.
This frame was removed many years ago from a 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera that was originally purchased at Vasek Polak in February of 1974. It presents beautifully with only minor patina and no significant flaws or damage. It's an authentic, metal frame and you'll look a long time before you find another as nice. I have included multiple high-resolution photos showing the exact condition of this item.

I’m not a dealer and I don’t do this to make a living. I’m a collector who owns more than a dozen vintage Porsches and I spend a fair amount of my spare time hunting/buying/trading parts for these great cars. All of the parts I have listed on eBay were, at one time or another, purchased for one of my cars or were actually on one of my cars. Have parts for sale or trade? I have multiple cars undergoing restoration right now and I'm always interested in hard-to-find, early parts for 356's, 911's, and 912's. Thanks for looking.
