    Great vintage World War Two Press photo of Grumman TBF Avenger over Shanghai, China on V-J day,  "American Eagle spreads its wings over the City as Shanghai celebrates its belated V-J Day - It was no fault of the people of Shanghai that they had to celebrate their V-J Day with a delay as late as September 2nd. But their enthusiasm made up for the delay. Here a warplane from one of the carriers of the mighty U.S. Pacific fleet flies over Shanghai on the city's V-Day. Identified points are: The Astor Hotel on the right; The Old British Consulate on the left bank of the creek. As the planes flew over the buildings, people lined the water's edge to stare up at the flying Aruaea"
