    Description

    This unusual shape cup and saucer was made by J&G Meakin to commemorate the planned coronation of King Edward VIII May 12, 1937.  The cup measures approximately 3 inches high and 3 1/4 inches in diameter.  Th saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches across.  The cup and saucer are both in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
    White spots in photos are light reflections.
