    Description

    Simple Machines Deluxe Green Multi-track Gear
    Approximately 5 inch outer diameter. 84 teeth on the outer ring, 62 on the inner ring.
    The outer ring is the same size as the standard black or yellow large gears used in many K'NEX sets.  Final 2 photos show it with a yellow gear for reference (yellow gear not included).
    This gear was originally included with the Education Simple Machines Deluxe Gears set.  Two rows of teeth allow it to drive two separate gears at different speeds to build models such as a clock with hands moving at different speeds, or a reel-style lawnmower that spins the blade at a faster speed than the rolling wheels. (Instructions for these models can be downloaded in high quality, color pdf format directly from the knex website- simply search for 79520.)
