I am offering for sale a large vintage hand painted oil portrait of French King Louis XVI. It is signed Duval and is in an elaborate gold frame. The painting and frame are in excellent condition with no chips, scratches or repairs. The mat is covered in suede. The details are very fine and the colors are vivid. The image measures 6 1/4" x 8" and the frame measures 13 1/2" x 15 5/8". There is reflection of light in the photos the convex glass.
