Mauchline Ware The Royal Birthday Book Celebrating Queen Victoria's Jubilee

I have the honor and privilege of selling the collection of an avid and discerning collector of Mauchline Ware consisting of transfer, checker, Parian and tartan ware with a smattering of a few other finishes. I will be listing them in bite size batches over the next several months so that over time collectors can absorb the depth and breadth of the collection. This gentleman amassed an amazing collection of pieces, some of which I have never seen before and I have seen many collectors' collections over the years. This birthday
book celebrating Victoria's fiftieth year on the throne has a chromolithograph of the Queen on the front and the Coat of Arms with the dates of her reign on the back. The book contains poetic verses for each day of the year and on the opposite page, a place to write notes, etc.  The piece is in good overall condition. There are a few scuffs here and there, it was obviously used and the binding shows some wear at the top of the book and some fading to the leather on the side. Otherwise I see no apparent flaws,, but please peruse the photos to assess the condition of the piece before bidding. It measures  3.25" long or wide, 2 5/8" deep and it is 17/8" high. White spots, if any, are camera glare.
