Here is the listing
*** Extremely RARE *** newspaper treasure trove detailing Princess Diana’s death on August 31, 1997.
Newspapers are from 8/31, 9/6 and 9/7.
We were there. It was our very first trip to England. We arrived the morning of August 30 and toured Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey in the afternoon.
It’s a good thing we did those tours right away because they were closed after her death.
On Sunday, August 31, we woke up in our hotel, turned on the TV and saw her face with the title “Princess Diana: 1961-1997”.
We couldn't believe it. Just incredibly sad.
Our first scheduled tour was to be at Kensington Palace, Diana’s official residence.
When we got to the palace that morning there was a single bouquet of flowers in front of the fence.
Within a week there would be thousands. (see photos)
