    Description

RARE! British English Brass Rubbings Henry Paris (Parys?) and Lion 1427 signed by artist and framed! . Condition is Used.
Shipped with USPS Priority Mail and insured.
Mild damage to bottom of outer frame. I didn't want to try and repair it and ruin it's "original" frame.
I will ship with tape on the glass to protect it and lots of bubble wrap, which is why shipping charge is a little more.
Please see all photos! The tape measure is a guild for you to judge the size. I'm not going to to "exact" measurements because, in my experience, that can cause confusion. I don't want anyone with hurt feelings!
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
FYI. Henry (Paris) Parys died in 1427. I cannot confirm, but the research I have done points to this rubbing being done at the Holy Trinity Church, Hildersham, Cambridgeshire, UK.
Henry was the youngest son of Robert Parys.
He married Margery, she lived 22 years after Henry's death.
Henry inherited from his brother Nicholas large areas of land in Cambridgeshire and became the Lord of the Manor at Hildersham.
