    Description

Reproduction brass of original brass of Sir Thomas Bullen/Boleyn, mounted  on oak plank. Size 26" x 80".   This was purchased in England in 1968, and has graced our home for over 50 years.  It has been a stunning focal point in many of our previous homes over the years, and will be for you, too.  This first Earl of Wiltshire was an English diplomat, politician, and father of Anne Bolyen.  (Anne was Queen Consort and second wife of King Henry VIII. Thus he was the maternal grandfather of Queen Elizabeth I of England.  The brass itself is a handsome record of medieval dress, symbology & customs.
The original brass is still located in Haver Castle, Kent.  Sir Thomas was born in Norfolk, 1477 -  d.March 1539.
His plaque reads: "Here lieth Sir Thomas Bullen, Knight of the Order of the Garter, Erle of Wilscher and Erle or Ormunde, which decessed the 12 day of Marche in the eire of our Lorde 1538."
We are down-sizing, moving, and looking for this to be relocated to a good home.  As far as shipping, you may pick it up in Texas this October.  Right now we are on Maui. Shipping possible but very expensive.  Condition is gently used.
