The Blue Angels made their first public appearance in the F8F Bearcat at Stapleton Field Denver Colorado on 24 September 1946. The Blues trademark Diamond Formation was first flown in the F8F Bearcat. The Blue Angels gave their last performance in the F8F Bearcat at Madison Wisconsin on 14 August 1949.
