    Vintage Original Set of 2 Mini 1962 California License Plate Plastic DAV Keyring Fobs
    From Car Collector's Estate in California
    This set of two vintage original 1964 mini California yellow/black plastic license plates to be used as keyring fobs is in excellent condition.
    Under government contract, the Disabled American Veterans, DAV, sent these mini versions of real license plates to the registered owners.  Donations were accepted but not mandatory and the service included a way to recover lost keys.  Keys that were found could be placed in any US mailbox and they would be returned to their owner.
    This 1962 set is license LZP 249.  Each piece measures 1 3/8" long x 1/2" wide.
