VTG Silk ? Thread Heminway & Sons #D Dark Emerald Green Fly Fishing Sewing #A32

Description

Vintage wooden spool of thread. Appears to be silk, but i am not certain, as it does not say silk on the spool.
Appears to be mostly full, i do not know how much thread is on the spool.
This is a  Dark Emerald Green
shade. There is not a shade number on the spool. I tried to describe the color as best as i am able. The lustrous thread is difficult to capture in a photograph, and will display different on mobile devices and computer screens.
Because the color may display differently on different monitors, please ask questions if you are unsure.
Please allow for variations in how the color renders, as this is a non-returnable item.
Not tested for machine sewing.
This is a true antique/vintage spool of thread, frequently used in hand sewing applications as well as fly fishing.  I am not an expert, and have not tested it for strength, and cannot guarantee how it will perform should you wish to use it for something other than decorative use.
