    Wizart Colors' Encaustic tablets are very versatile, economical and easy to use. Its tablet shape enables you to break the exact amount of paint needed. Then you can easily melt it and apply it to your artwork.
    Wizart's Encaustic Tablets are made using a classic formula of 8 parts purified beeswax to 1 part best quality damar crystals. To this we added the finest pigments. It can be used as a paint film and may be used as a base or top coat. Wizart's Encaustic Paints also act as binding mediums for collages and altered art effects. You can mix it with other Encaustic or oil base paints or dilute it with our Encaustic Medium.
    Wizart's Encaustic Paints are applied molten with a brush or artist's knife and then fused into your artwork with a heat source like a heat gun, hot iron or a torch. It is best to apply encaustic paints on a rigid surface.
