"The Meeting of Her Majesty's Stag Hounds On Ascot Heath", published Jan. 1, 1839 by Hodgson and Graves, engraved from a painting by Sir Francis Grant. This hunt scene captures British gents horseback and on foot mingling with one another with their hounds at their heels. Inscription beneath incorporating the royal coat of arms reads:PAINTED BY F. GRANT, ENGRAVED BY F. BROMLEY / THE MEETING OF HER MAJESTY'S STAGHOUNDS ON ASCOT HEATH
To the Right Honorable the Earl of Chesterfield. / This engraving from the original picture painted for him when / Master of the Royal Hunt. /. Also royal coat of arms. Frame is plain dark varnished wood with gilt inset. Bottom left of reverse is hand written label reading; / Meeting of the Royal Staghounds / at Ascot Heath, after Sir F.
